Maternity Photography
Whether this is your first pregnancy or you are adding another baby to your growing family, I’m here to help to cherish this moment.
As a maternity photographer, I have the honor of watching many families grow. I recommend having maternity photography created between 28 and 35 weeks gestation, and you’ll want to schedule your appointments with me a month or two before. This is the time period when most mothers-to-be are showing and still feel like a glowing momma. I have a collection of maternity gowns available for my expecting clients, and will help you find coordinating wardrobe for your family. If you wish to have your hair styled or makeup professionally applied, I can help arrange that too. We want you to look and feel your best for this special occasion.
What Does a MATERNITY Session Include?
I do travel outside of the above areas. A travel fee may apply. Just reach out and let me know what you have in mind.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
is so important to me!
01
Consult
First, schedule a phone call with me. This is your chance to have your questions answered, for me to get to know you a bit, and for us to begin gathering details for your session.
02
Prep
Together we’ll plan all of the details of your session. You’ll have my expert guidance for outfit choices, timing, and everything necessary to ensure a successful session. I have a collection of maternity dresses to choose from, and also provide an online styling service.
03
Session
Maternity photography sessions last from 1 to 1 ½ hours, and are scheduled an hour and a half before sunset. That is when sunlight is softest and most flattering for your maternity portraits. I will direct and pose you to make sure that you look your best, but I also like to capture in-the-moment pregnancy photos as well.
04
Viewing
About one week after your session we’ll meet in the studio to view your proofs. At this time, you will select your final print or digital products for purchase. I have an expertly curated collection of frames, wood prints, and album choices to compliment your family photography.
05
Delivery
Heirloom print products and digital files may take up to eight weeks for final delivery. My partners and I strive to get them to you sooner, but we have quality production in mind.
What will it cost?
Each session is a customized experience for my clients.
There is a session retainer fee of $150 to hold your date on my schedule for family sessions. Printed art starts at $250. Your total investment will depend upon the final products that you wish to have created. Please schedule a consult with me and we’ll chat about your options!
