To celebrate baby J turning one, his mother and I planned a galaxy cake smash session. The stargazer backdrop we used for his session is one that is available in my studio, and I had my favorite baker create a galaxy cake to coordinate perfectly. The set turned out beautifully, and this quickly became one of my favorite cake smash themes.
Baby J showed so much of his personality during his cake smash session. He dove right into his cake and seemed to enjoy the cake smash experience. J was in the beginning stages of walking, so he was keen to explore the icing with his feet as well. J crawled and scooted through the icing, leaving a trail of icing on the set of this galaxy cake smash.
