Samantha and Ryan flew into Vegas for their baby moon, and contacted me to capture their maternity photos while in the area. After browsing my portfolio, they were certain that Valley of Fire would be the dream location for maternity photography. The light and landscapes in the park are just beautiful during golden hour, and exploring this state park became a memorable part of their Vegas trip.
Samantha discussed outfits with me prior to the session, explaining that she would be bringing her own attire to show her Ojibwe heritage. She wore a traditional Ojibwe ribbon skirt with beadwork, a maternity dress by Byellowtail, and another traditional skirt. Samantha looked stunning in everything, but that bright ribbon skirt just wowed in the dessert landscape. These two were so fun to work with, and I’m honored that they chose me to work with during their getaway.
