I photographed the C family annually during the time that my family and I lived in Las Vegas. Julie chose a different desert location each year, and we enjoyed our adventurous family photography sessions with her boys. For this occasion, we travelled out to Valley of Fire State Park.
Valley of Fire is one of my favorite outdoor landscapes in the Las Vegas area. I frequented this park enough, that I applied for the annual permit to work as a photographer in Valley of Fire State Park. About an hour from the city, this park provides such a uniquely serene escape. The park is the perfect place to venture out with kids, so I favored it for family photography sessions. Julie’s boys loved climbing over boulders, touching the sand, and running about in this wide open space. Family sessions in Valley of Fire are a fun experience, and the background cannot be beat!
